I believe that every person has the ability to heal and that power comes from within. I work with adults and mature teens to help build resiliency through trauma informed interventions. I specialize in working with clients who have experienced traumatic life events such as childhood abuse, domestic violence and sexual assault. I am skilled in treating folks with trauma related disorders including dissociative identity disorder. A philosophy that I use to guide my approach is this: in life pain is inevitable, suffering, however, is not. If you are suffering know that help exists in the form of compassionate and caring counseling.
